So while this is technically kind of a sidestep from the actual point of this Tumblr, I wildly assumed that some of you people might share my general delight in viewing half-naked men.
And, you know, while the images don’t consist of dudes being put into the same bizarrely sexualized poses as women, Andrew Wheeler’s op-ed does touch on issues near and dear to my heart. If comics are going to be full of ridiculous eye-candy, can’t we at least have some ridiculous eye-candy for those of us who aren’t heterosexual
menteenage boys?(Predictably, the comments are full of people being butthurt at the idea that something non attractive to straight dudes might sometimes be welcome in a comic or two.)

You really didn’t think that we’d be able to avoid Man-Faye for long, did you?
The click-through link is to the DeviantArt user (angelfacade) who took and posted this picture. Once upon a time there was a Man-Faye website, but it appears to have disappeared. There’s also a defunct MySpace page with a few pictures on it, but it looks like it may have been a page put up by fans.

After watching some of them, I suddenly realized exactly why Canada almost refused to let me into the country when I admitted we were heading to Vancouver for an anime convention.
